Contributing
to Qmailrocks.org |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
In general, there are 4 ways to contribute to Qmailrocks.org: 1. Monetary donations in exchange for FREE qmailrocks.org merchandise! Click here to proceed. 2. Standard Monetary donations Qmailrocks.org is and will always be a free qmail resource for everyone to use, learn from and enjoy. However, I do accept monetary donations of almost any size. All donations go into the maintanence, development and advancement of this site. I might also occasionally buy a beer with some of the money. Hey, I gotta have refreshment while I'm working on the site, right? Donations can be made in any amount between $5-$500. I'm not going to ask anyone to contribute more that $500 because, quite frankly, I would feel guilty as there is no way this site would ever have any need for so much money from a single person. I'm not greedy. :) Donations are not tax deductible at this point, but if support for this site continues I have every intention of becoming a non-profit organization for which donations will be tax deductible. Additionally, making a monetary donation to Qmailrocks.org in no way entitles you to any sort of "extra support" for your qmail installation and/or troubleshooting of a qmail installation. In other words, if you want to donate money to this site, do so because you like the site and want to support it's existence. Do not donate money with the expectation that a donation will allow you to get fulltime qmail support or anything like that. If you choose to donate, though, you WILL get a huge "THANK YOU" from me and probably some mention on site. Donations can be made via Paypal. The link below will take you to my donation page.
3. Contributions to the "qmail add-ons" or "qmail tools" documentation: A well written and informative how-to on how to add a feature to qmail or about a qmail tool is always welcome. You can send such contributions to the e-mail address at the bottom of this page. 4. Documention of my Qmail installation on alternative operating systems: Currently this site covers the installation of qmail on Redhat, RHEL, Fedora, Debian, Slackware, FreeBSD and Solaris. If you have succeeded in an installation on any other Unix or Linux OS, I totally welcome a well documented account of the steps you took. I will add good ducumentations to this site. Ohter systems I am interested in hearing about include Suse, Mandrake and Knoppix.
